In terms of working principles, when the fire extinguishing device senses a fire signal, the control system will send instructions to the selector valve. After receiving the instructions, the selector valve will activate the corresponding actuator to control the movement of the valve core, thus opening or closing the extinguishing agent release channel. In this way, the extinguishing agent can be precisely released to the fire-affected area through the selector valve to achieve the fire extinguishing effect.
Moreover, the performance parameters of the selector valve are also very important. Among them, nominal working pressure and nominal diameter are two key parameters. Nominal working pressure represents the maximum working pressure that the selector valve can bear, while nominal diameter determines the flow rate of the extinguishing agent through the selector valve. The selection of these parameters needs to be determined according to the specific requirements of the fire extinguishing system.
